cool

Nice, thank you for sharing! I’ll try it our later when I’m on Windows

My recommendation would be to put more in the description on itch.io page, what the game mechanics is about. Unless of course the mystery here is part of the plot

BTW, about NSFW/18+ content on this forum:

I didn’t really specify official rules about it before, let’s go with this:

  • Posting links to NSFW/18+ content with clear note that they are NSFW/18+ etc. (like you clearly did, thank you) is completely OK.

( That is assuming that this content is related to our engine, e.g. it’s a game using CGE, like in this case. )

  • Posting the NSFW/18+ content itself (not only linking to it), like posting NSFW/18+ screenshots, is not allowed on this forum.

(No problem, you didn’t do it, I just mention it here for completeness.)

It doesn’t mean that you cannot post any screenshots from your game. E.g. 1st and 2nd screenshots from your game’s itch.io page would be completely OK to post here, just the 3rd one would be not OK.

Reasoning:

  • The core reason: We welcome users of any age on this forum, and this forum’s contents should remain “safe for work”, in all topics and sections, so that users of any age can browse this forum it freely.

This “core reason” should guide the rest of our decisions.

  • We also don’t want extra technical complexity / legal complexity that comes with having potentially age-restricted content (potentially in some countries) on this forum and having to ask people “are you 18?” on this forum. We delegate to others (like itch.io or Steam or GOG, they all allow adult games and 18+ content) how to present NSFW/18+ content and how to ask users “are you 18?”.

  • I reserve the right to change/revert this opinion in some cases. Posting or even linking to content that is violent or offensive would be not OK. And there are probably lots of “gray areas” that I didn’t think about  But for now, I hope this is good for everyone, and clear enough. (let me know if not!)

Anyhow, you’re all good  You’re welcome to post progress about this game here too!

The game is embarrassingly great!
But I have 2 major notes:
1 game misses the Audio accompany like the desert misses the rain :crying_cat_face:
2 game isn’t felt like “the game”, bc I can’t see any objectives or win/lose stuff (ofc I know it is the early stage), but in general it is a great immersive sim :face_holding_back_tears:

other minor thoughts: navigation could be a bit better for lovely focuses,
lights are a bit unrealistic still (maybe bc of normals ), bc on Deviantart I see the models way nicer

and thanks for the sources - it was interesting to read thru it.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it
You’re right, there’s no sound yet. I haven’t even started working on it yet. There’s no time for that yet.
Actually, I’m not planning to make any goal in the game.
The works on Deviant are renders in Blender. This is accompanying art that is not directly related to the game. I’m glad you looked there too
