Lua for game scripting and configuration

Good day.
Recently I meet Lua. :waning_crescent_moon:
I want to try it for config files and some game logic and scripts. Also this adds perspectives to fast modding.
But I haven’t experience with integration of Lua.

Is Lua using is already real in CGE? I saw news about packages, but, as I understand, this is not priority target?

Maybe you have basic recommendations how to start?.. Or reasons to not try :upside_down_face:

No. The go-to scripting language for CGE is python, see Roadmap | Manual | Castle Game Engine

Of course you can also integrate Lua (or any other languages) yourself. A simple example can be found here: GitHub - Kagamma/cge-script-integration-example

Personally I am using my own scripting language for my game.

Understood.
I don’t like Python too much (don’t hate, of course, just don’t feel pleasure when use them :upside_down_face: ) So, maybe I try something with Lua.
Also Lua syntax more close to Pascal, so, project will not seems too eclectic.
